The Vancouver Garrison’s annual Military Ball will be held on Saturday 24 Mar 2012 with the Hyatt Regency Vancouver as the host hotel for 2012. The hotel’s well appointed ballroom has served as a great venue for both dancing as well as floor shows several times in the past and it is expected to do same excellent job again for the 67th Annual Military Ball.

The tariff for the Ball has been set at $110 per person. This increase comes after having kept the line for the last six years, however, reality of the general costs today vs six years ago is, reluctantly, reflected in the tariff for the 2012 Ball but with the anticipation that the new level will be sufficient to cover costs for several years to come.

The Hyatt Regency management is in the process of compiling a list of table wines for the convenience of dinner guests to the Ball featuring a wide variety of selections of wines as well as facilitating pre dinner ordering when guests are advised of the table seating plans. The chef is also prepared to accommodate special meals for guests who require consideration for food allergies and avoiding certain food as well as vegetarian dishes if so wanted. When ordering tickets for the Ball guests are requested to indicate any food restriction or special meal selections which will be passed on to the chef & catering staff.

Entertainment and dance music will be provided by musicians and bands from the 39 Canadian Brigade Group’s Regimental bands who are looking forward to welcome the guests to the 2012 Annual Military Ball.
